Customer Service Representative – Pauma Valley
T-Y Nursery has an open position for a Customer Service Representative Trainee at their Pauma Valley facility. This position will support the site as a visitor greeter and phone receptionist, assist with customer order input and support other departments with general office duties such as data input, filing, and reporting.
Duties include:
- Be the “face of the company” to visitors and customer callers.
- Take and process customer orders in support of customer service and sales.
- Provide the highest level of quality service for all customer wants and needs and expectations.
- Support General Manager with projects and general business duties.
- Support other departments as need arises.
- Ability to take on special projects in support of company goals.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who loves working with people to learn firsthand how a large ornamental production nursery consistently meets and exceeds its’ customers’ expectations for quality service.
Qualifications:
AA degree in Business, Sales, Marketing or related field, Bachelor’s degree is preferred. A combination of education and experience will be considered. Nursery sales or customer service experience is a plus.
- Must be able to consistently demonstrate visitor and customer awareness skills.
- Computer literate, Quick Books and MS Office.
- Completion of formal training programs a plus.
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus.
- Be able and comfortable working five and a half day weeks.
